PMAGKC Announces Successful Partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace at Annual Golf Tournament

Kansas City, July 5, 2023 – The Pest Management Association of Greater Kansas City (PMAGKC) is thrilled to announce its recent partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) and the resounding success of its Annual Golf Tournament held on June 29, 2023. The event brought together industry professionals, sponsors, and supporters in a day of golf, camaraderie, and fundraising for a worthy cause.

This year marked a significant milestone for PMAGKC as it opened the tournament to the public and raised funds to benefit a cause in the community. By expanding its outreach and impact, PMAGKC reaffirms its commitment to bringing value not only to its members but also to the local community.

The PMAGKC Annual Golf Tournament, held at Adams Pointe Golf Club, witnessed an overwhelming response from players and sponsors. Thanks to the exceptional support and generosity of participants, the event raised over $15,000, directly benefiting Sleep in Heavenly Peace in their mission to ensure that no child sleeps on the floor.

Flooring and More, serving as the Platinum Sponsor, played a pivotal role in the tournament’s tremendous success. Their unwavering commitment was evident through their generous support, providing golf polos, commemorative tournament t-shirts, and sponsor signage. PMAGKC extends a heartfelt thank you to Moon Tees in Lee’s Summit for their donation of printing and embroidery services for the tournament.

Additionally, Flooring and More contributed $500 in gift cards and offered $1,500 in cash payouts for the winning teams, further demonstrating their dedication to the mission of Sleep in Heavenly Peace. Ed Lipowisz’s commitment and belief in creating a lasting impact were instrumental in the tournament’s success.

Corteva Agriscience, as the Gold Sponsor, and Pinnacle Bank, as the Silver Sponsor, were also crucial in supporting the tournament and making a significant difference in the lives of children in the community.
